UMC is seeking a Physical Therapist for our Bristol Glen Senior Care Community in Newton, NJ. Bristol Glen provides person-directed care in a home-like environment, ensuring exceptional quality of life for residents.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
• At least 2 years' experience as a physical therapist
• Current Physical Therapist state license

Responsibilities

• Perform and document initial exams, evaluate data for diagnosis
• Design and implement physical treatment programs to maintain, improve, or restore physical function
• Record prognosis, treatment responses, and progress
• Set goals, plan reevaluations
• Administer manual exercises, massages, traction to relieve pain and improve strength
• Evaluate treatment effects and adjust as needed
• Test and measure client strength, motor skills, sensory perception, and more
• Instruct clients and families for continued care at home
• Collaborate with medical team to plan and assess interventions
• Review medical records and physician referrals
• Adhere to professional, ethical, legal standards
