Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role based in Newport Beach and Irvine, CA. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide one-on-one therapy sessions. Daily responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, documenting progress, updating plans of care, and collaborating with other team members to ensure consistent, high-quality treatment. The role also involves educating patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and home programs, while maintaining a safe, professional, and supportive clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Licensure and education: Active California Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain), graduation from an accredited physical therapy program, and current CPR certification.
• Clinical expertise: Strong skills in musculoskeletal and orthopedic assessment, manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise prescription, and functional movement training.
• Outpatient therapy: Ability to design and implement treatment plans incorporating aquatic therapy and land-based interventions to meet diverse patient goals.
• Communication and interpersonal skills: Clear, compassionate communication with patients and colleagues, strong patient education skills, and the ability to build trust and rapport in one-on-one settings.
• Documentation and organization: Proficiency in clinical documentation, time management, and maintaining accurate, timely patient records within established standards.
• Professional qualities: Commitment to evidence-informed practice, willingness to learn and adapt, reliability in a full-time on-site schedule, and a patient-centered approach to care.
• Preferred experience: Prior outpatient or orthopedic physical therapy experience and familiarity with goal-oriented rehabilitation programs.
