Sunny Days is hiring Physical Therapists in the Newark area of Essex County

We have positions for part-time employees and independent contractors!

  • Competitive rates based on experience, location, and work status ($80 - $90+ per hour for independent contractors and $60 - $70 per hour for part-time employees)

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc. (Sunny Days) is a staffing agency specializing in Early Intervention and Autism services, serving children from birth to three years of age. With over 25 years of experience in pediatric Early Intervention, Sunny Days is a nationwide provider of these services.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct developmental screenings and assessments, provide Physical Therapy services, and consult with family members and other professionals
  • Follow the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and develop strategies to meet each child's developmental goals
  • Coach family members and caregivers on intervention strategies to promote active involvement and carry-over at home and in the community
  • Deliver services in diverse settings such as homes, daycare centers, and community locations
  • Ensure progress is generalized and caregivers are active participants through coaching and communication
  • Prepare progress reports
  • Maintain confidentiality of children and families' information in accordance with HIPAA and other regulations
Requirements:
  • New Jersey Physical Therapy (PT) license
  • Experience in Early Intervention or equivalent
  • Pediatric experience
  • Home-based service delivery experience (preferred)
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with technology
