THE PHYSICAL MEDICINE & REHABILITATION CENTER, a leading rehabilitation facility, is looking for part-time and full-time physical therapists.

The PMR Center is a busy outpatient practice with locations in Bergen County, NJ; Rockland County, NY; and Riverdale, NY. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating various conditions, designing and implementing treatment plans, and administering direct patient care in accordance with the prescriptions of referring doctors.

The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct care to evaluate their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation. The PT will establish and administer treatment programs with goals suited to the patient's capacity and under the physician's guidance. Additionally, the PT must set realistic goals, document patient progress, and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods.

Caseload includes:

• Orthopedic pre/post-surgery rehabilitation
• Nerve compression, arthritic conditions, and repetitive strain injuries
• Neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke
• Sports rehabilitation
