Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Midland Park, NJ is looking for a full-time Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care and support their recovery journey. With responsibilities including evaluations and treatment planning, you will play a critical role in patient rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/Registration required to start.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry-level/New Grad acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and progresses treatment plans.
• Provides education to patients and caregivers.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and communicates effectively.
• Facilitates professional growth and departmental performance.
• Performs other duties associated with patient care.

Job description

Location: Midland Park

Schedule: Monday-Friday full-time 40 hours weekly

Compensation: $86,000-$110,000 annually depending on years of experience

Sign‑on bonus: up to $15,000

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.
• Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in a manner they can understand, and plans appropriately for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth, development and overall improvement of departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline‑specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.
