We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing team in Kendall, Florida. This role will provide evaluation and treatment services to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions. The Physical Therapist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to help patients improve mobility, coordination, strength, balance, motor planning, and overall functional independence. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, collaborative, and passionate about supporting children with diverse developmental needs in achieving meaningful goals at home, school, and within their communities.
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess gross motor development, balance, coordination, strength, gait, posture, and functional mobility.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician recommendations.
Provide skilled therapeutic interventions focused on improving motor skills, mobility, functional independence, and quality of life.
Utilize evidence-based strategies and sensory-informed approaches when working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with caregivers, teachers, behavioral specialists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs, therapeutic activities, and strategies that promote continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to patient care planning.
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and organizational regulations, policies, and standards of practice.
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Active Florida Physical Therapist license in good standing
Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience working with pediatric populations or individuals with developmental disabilities
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism (ASD)
Knowledge of sensory processing challenges, motor planning deficits, and developmental milestones
Experience in outpatient pediatric, school-based, early intervention, or interdisciplinary therapy settings
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
This is a 100% onsite role.
This is a Permanent position based out of Miami, FL.
The pay range for this position is $95680.00 - $95680.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
This is a fully onsite position in Miami,FL.
This position is anticipated to close on Sep 7, 2026.
