Job summary

Berkshire Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Sandisfield, MA is seeking a part-time and per diem Physical Therapist to join our rehab team in a 57-bed all-male facility.

You will perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and provide direct treatment while supervising staff and students, contributing to clinical program development and Medicare compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree, Master of Science or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• Appropriate licensing requirements by individual states must be maintained.
• Ability to function effectively in multi‑faceted systems and to interact with all levels of staff and customers.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to perform documentation needs and direct patient care.
• Requires intense attention and concentration.
• Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with census and staffing demands.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others.
• Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types and cultures.
• Ability to articulate and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

Physical Therapist Part-time and Per Diem - Berkshire Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center

We are seeking a dynamic and caring Physical Therapist to join our per diem team at Berkshire Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center, an award-winning skilled nursing facility in Sandisfield.

We are a 57-bed all-male nursing home with a large veteran population and a majority of long-term stay residents. Up to $55 an hour.

Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist, you will provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload. You will also participate in the clinical team process, providing teaching and training to caregiver staff and supervising other therapists, assistants, aides, and students as required.
