Corewell Health Rehabilitation - Livonia is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to assess functional limitations and design individualized treatment plans. You will work with patients to restore strength, flexibility, and ergonomics as they regain independence in daily activities.

The role is full-time, daytime hours (8:00am–5:00pm) at the Livonia care center, with a focus on safe, evidence-based rehabilitation and collaborative care within Southeast Michigan’s premier health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Michigan State License in Physical Therapy required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate and develop a treatment plan for patients with functional limitations.
• Provide consultation to healthcare providers regarding patient care continuum.
• Interact with patients of all ages and cultures and adhere to customer service standards.

The brand-new Corewell Health Rehabilitation - Livonia offers services to those of all ages experiencing pain or physical limitations affecting their ability to move and perform everyday activities. Our team of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants are licensed health care professionals focus on maximizing your movement potential, injury prevention, treatment and sustainable wellness. Corewell is most preferred for physical therapy services in Southeast Michigan. Physical therapist work with you providing customized treatments to improve how you function. Your physical therapist is a licensed health care professional focused on restoring your strength, flexibility and ergonomics during functional training. Conveniently located on 7 Mile Road east of Haggerty Road, Corewell Health will provide a new, convenient front door to extraordinary care from Corewell, Southeast Michigan's most preferred health care system.

Scope of Work

The physical therapist is responsible for examining, evaluating and developing a treatment plan for patients with functional limitations and disabilities. PT’s provide consultation to healthcare providers regarding a patient’s continuum of care. The individual in this position is required to appropriately interact with all patients regardless of age or culture and to adhere to the Corewell Health customer service standards.

Standard Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required. Masters or Doctorate Degree preferred.
• Michigan State License in Physical Therapy required.
• BLS certification required.
