Job summary

Qualifications

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • NH licensure or eligibility to practice in NH.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills focused on patient engagement and education.
  • Outpatient experience preferred (orthopedic/geriatric).

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and treat outpatient patients (orthopedic, neuro, post-operative).
  • Design and implement personalized care plans based on findings and referrals.
  • Use manual techniques, movement-based therapy, vestibular treatments, and other modalities.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment to optimize function.
  • Collaborate with PTAs and staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • Educate patients and caregivers to support recovery and prevention.
  • Document accurately in the EMR system.

About the Role:

This role is designed for a Physical Therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality, individualized care in an outpatient setting. You will have the opportunity to work in an environment that prioritizes patient outcomes, clinical independence, and thoughtful scheduling. The position supports a balanced approach to care, allowing therapists to build strong patient relationships while collaborating with a close-knit clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and provide treatment for a diverse outpatient population, including orthopedic, neurological, and post-operative cases.
  • Design and implement personalized care plans based on clinical findings and provider referrals.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions such as manual techniques, movement-based therapy, vestibular treatment, and other specialized modalities.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies to achieve optimal functional results.
  • Work collaboratively with Physical Therapist Assistants and support staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • Provide education to patients and caregivers to encourage recovery, injury prevention, and long-term health.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic medical record systems.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented environment that values communication, respect, and shared clinical goals.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active or eligible licensure as a Physical Therapist in NH.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient engagement and education.
  • Preferred: prior exposure to outpatient care settings or experience with orthopedic, pediatric, or geriatric populations.
