Role Overview

The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for safely managing core spine strengthening for each patient and encouraging patients to apply these techniques for optimal benefits. The PT also handles initial intake of patient care plans at one or more locations, focusing on delivering high-quality rehabilitative care. Clinical supervision of support staff is managed with support from clinic leadership.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position supervises Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) and Spinal Rehab Specialists (SRS).

Essential Job Functions

1. Oversee clinical team members while ensuring high-quality patient care
2. Evaluate musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical problems
3. Design and implement physical therapy treatment programs
4. Maintain clinical protocols and processes
5. Perform equipment testing and instruct patients accordingly
6. Address clinical concerns promptly
7. Collaborate with medical team to ensure comprehensive care
8. Complete documentation in EHR systems
9. Ensure timely communication and billing
10. Maintain clinic cleanliness and organization
11. Achieve clinical KPI benchmarks and maintain productivity
12. Participate in team meetings and webinars
13. Manage patient scheduling and billing
14. Ensure HIPAA compliance
15. Provide excellent customer service
16. Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in California
• Doctorate of Physical Therapy or equivalent
• Valid CPR certification
• Knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices
• Ability to develop patient care records and reports
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive

This role is based in an outpatient setting and may involve physical demands such as lifting over 50 pounds, supporting patients, and some driving between clinics.

Additional Details

Role may require floating between locations based on patient volume and operational needs.

Compensation: $40.87 - $60.10 per hour, DOE (Hourly, Non-Exempt)
