This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and dedicated physical therapist who is interested in providing a superb level of care in an environment where the traditional barriers to excellence (high caseload, significant paperwork, third party reimbursement demands) are removed.
The compensation for this role is 20% to 40% more than your current take home pay.
Description
A very high net worth family in Fort Worth TX is seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative individual to work as their private therapist, developing and implementing physical therapy treatment plans to optimize movement and promote overall well-being.
There are eight members of this family.
This person will work directly with members of the family (adults/older teens) to develop physical therapy programs that promote strength, flexibility, balance/coordination, endurance, and overall health.
This is a full-time position that requires a person who is 100% committed to providing individualized and excellent care.
Two members of the family have minor, static movement disorders (developmental ataxia) and have been receiving physical therapy several times a week. This new person would take over their care and provide consistency and a more in-depth treatment plan.
Knowledge/Skills required
Minimum 10 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist
Broad clinical background
Analytical and detail focused
Innovative, flexible and collaborative
Must have DPT degree and license to practice in Texas
Must have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA
Must be willing to work no more than 45 hrs. per week, with the occasional weekend shift needed.
Must be willing to work for 2+ years with the family
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide one-on-one therapy sessions
Collect and analyze data in a precise and thorough manner in order to optimize effectiveness of treatments and promote progress
Recommend and maintain equipment
Work collaboratively at all times
