Job summary

Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Forked River, NJ is seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time 40-hour week. Compensation ranges from $86k to $110k+ annually depending on experience, plus incentives like a student debt benefit and annual profit sharing.

Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized plans, patient education, and collaboration with the rehab team. NJ license required; outpatient orthopedics experience preferred or entry level accepted.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/Registration required.
• Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred; entry level welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Provides patient and caregiver education and plans discharge when appropriate.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and communicates effectively with rehab team.
• Supports professional growth and overall improvement of departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties related to care and program delivery.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT):

• Performs comprehensive evaluations, develops and appropriately progresses individualized treatment plans.
• Provides thorough education to patients and caregivers in a manner they can understand, and plans appropriately for discharge when medical necessity no longer indicates skilled therapeutic care.
• Participates in departmental initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all rehab team members.
• Facilitates professional growth, development and overall improvement of departmental performance.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid New Jersey State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start.
• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred; entry level/New Grad acceptable
