Job summary

Citadel Care Centers is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist in Florida to provide comprehensive evaluation and individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain. You will work with patients to implement evidence-based therapies, educate families, and track progress towards recovery goals.

The role requires a Doctorate or MS in Physical Therapy, successful NBCE completion, and active Florida licensure.

Qualifications

• Must have a graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Must have successfully passed the National Certification Examination.
• Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing patients' medical histories.
• Diagnosing patients by observing movements and listening to concerns.
• Developing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Outlining clear goals for patients and expected outcomes.
• Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to reduce pain and improve mobility.
• Recording progress and adjusting plans as needed.
• Educating patients and families about recovery processes.
• Consulting with patients to understand conditions and symptoms.
• Assisting patients with use of equipment such as wheelchairs or walkers.
• Recommend at-home treatment options and exercises.

Education

Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Successful completion of National Certification Examination

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviewing patients' medical histories
• Diagnosing patients by observing their movements and listening to their concerns
• Developing individualized treatment plans for patients
• Outlining clear goals for patients and the expected outcomes of the plan
• Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury
• Recording patients' progress and modifying the plan of care if needed
• Educating patients and family members about the recovery process
• Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms
• Assisting patients with the use of equipment such as wheelchairs or walkers
• Advising the patient and family about in-home treatment options and exercises

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Successful completion of National Certification Examination
