- Schedule: Sunday - Saturday 0730-1630, 8-hour workdays not to exceed 40 hours/week.

Qualifications
- Degree: Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program acceptable to the USAF Surgeon General and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
- Education: Graduate from an approved college or university by CAPTE.
- Experience: Minimum 24 months of outpatient orthopedics experience in the past 36 months and at least 12 months of acute inpatient physical therapy in the past 7 years.
- Licensure: Current, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a physical therapist.
Core Job Duties
- Perform a full range of physical therapist services within the scope of clinical privileges.
- Conduct examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, and prognosis for DoD beneficiaries using various therapeutic concepts and methodologies.
- Provide therapeutic procedures and services supporting patient referrals and direct access.
- Ensure patient care is safe, timely, and meets treatment goals while complying with medical staff guidelines.
- Assess patients' strength, motor development, sensory perception, and functional capacity; record findings to guide treatment.
- Administer modalities and pharmaceuticals for pain relief, including joint and soft tissue mobilization.
- Instruct patients and families in therapeutic exercises and treatment continuation at home.
- Evaluate, fit, and recommend orthotic devices, making adjustments as needed.
- Document treatment plans, discharge, and referral recommendations.
- Participate in team meetings, seminars, and quality assurance activities.
- Supervise and train physical therapy assistants, interns, and other providers.
- Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on patient evaluation.
- Administer manual exercises and assist patients with functional activities and device use.
- Apply mobilization and traction techniques to relieve pain.
- Record treatment responses and progress in patient records.
- Coordinate with physicians and staff to optimize patient care and treatment plans.
- Engage in prevention, wellness, education, and health promotion activities.
