Job summary

TransPerfect Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at PennKnoll Village. You will evaluate and treat aging populations, develop therapy programs, and supervise Therapy Assistants while ensuring compliance with state regulations and OBRA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program; foreign-trained degrees must be evaluated as equivalent by an APTA-approved credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments per state rules and policy.
• Plan and optimize mobility, independence, and quality of life for aging populations.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Participate in orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• Develop a robust therapy program in collaboration with Rehab Director.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
• Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop a robust therapy program
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated
• Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
