Barrett Hospital & HealthCare in Dillon, Montana seeks a Physical Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. The role focuses on evidence-based evaluation and treatment, using movement science, manual therapy, exercise prescription and modalities to achieve meaningful outcomes.

We work closely with physicians and OT/SLP in an interdisciplinary setting, offering continuing education allowances and paid time for courses.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Must pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
• Must be eligible for or hold an active Montana Physical Therapy license; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evidence-based PT evaluations and treatments across settings.
• Collaborate with physicians, OT and SLP teams in an interdisciplinary setting.
• Provide care in outpatient orthopedic, inpatient acute care and swing bed settings; opportunities in pediatrics.

Continual professional growth is encouraged through robust continuing education allowances and available paid time for course attendance. Therapists can expect to see an eclectic mix of diagnoses and age groups while working primarily in an outpatient orthopedic setting as well as inpatient acute care and swing bed. Opportunities available for those interested in pediatrics, although not required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree (preferred) from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited Physical Therapy program
• Candidate must be able to produce documentation of passing the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
• Must be eligible to acquire or currently possess an active Montana State license in Physical Therapy from the Montana Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Basic Life Support (BLS) required
