Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
  • Doctorate of Physical Therapy is preferred.
  • Less than one year of experience in physical therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of therapeutic interventions to rehabilitate physical function.
  • Oversee a comprehensive rehabilitation program meeting patient physical and psychosocial needs.
  • Coordinate discharge goals with the care team during episodes of care.
  • Promote patient and caregiver self-determination by optimizing outside resources to maximize independence.
  • Communicate with multiple disciplines involved in patient care.
