Job summary

SPT Canyon Park, a sports and orthopedic physical therapy clinic in Washington, seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to serve active adults and athletes. You will evaluate and treat orthopedic and sports-related conditions, coach patients through exercise, movement retraining, and progressive loading.

This role emphasizes clinical reasoning, efficiency, and patient communication, with mentorship from the Clinic Director and a structured onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Licensed (or soon-to-be licensed) Physical Therapist in Washington State.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Interest in sports, movement, and performance-based rehab.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Your First 30–60 Days

• Structured onboarding with clear expectations
• Side-by-side treatment and case discussions with the Clinic Director
• Gradual ramp to full independence (no getting thrown into the deep end)
• Early focus on clinical reasoning, efficiency, and patient communication

What You Will Do

• Evaluate and treat orthopedic and sports-related conditions
• Coach patients through exercise, movement retraining, and progressive loading
• Use manual therapy when it meaningfully improves outcomes
• Make clinical decisions—not just follow protocols
• Document efficiently during the workday (no take-home notes)

• Open-gym, active care model (minimal passive modalities)

• Base salary: $87,000 – $95,000 (based on experience)
