Job summary

MissionCare at Bennington is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at a first-of-its-kind facility. This role offers both full-time and per diem openings and will be performed on-site, providing opportunities to work closely with physicians and staff.

You will evaluate and implement treatment plans, supervise support staff, and help patients achieve optimal function. A VT PT license or eligibility is required, with experience and software proficiency valued highly.

Qualifications

• Current State of VT Physical Therapy Licensure or eligibility.
• 3+ years of experience in all aspects of physical therapy preferred.
• Working knowledge of various software programs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct and administer physical therapy modalities of treatment.
• Administer treatments as prescribed by a physician to restore function and prevent disability.
• Assist patients to reach maximum performance and functioning levels.
• Coordinate, delegate and supervise responsibilities with supportive staff.
• Ensure patient charges are accurate and documented promptly.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment
• Administers treatments as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability
• Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning
• Coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff
• Ensures patient charges are accurate and documented on a timely basis

Qualifications

• Current State of VT Physical Therapy Licensure or eligibility
• 3 or more years of previous experience in all aspects of physical therapy, preferred
• Working knowledge of various software programs, required
