Job summary

The Springs of Batesville is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Batesville, AR. PRN or full-time positions available, with new graduates encouraged to apply and begin a rewarding career in a collaborative setting.

You will evaluate residents, create individualized plans, and deliver skilled interventions to improve mobility and quality of life while leading the therapy team and ensuring accurate documentation and interdisciplinary communication.

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas Physical Therapist license is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Experience in SNF or long-term care is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Net Health documentation system is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication within a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide skilled interventions to improve mobility, strength, and balance.
• Supervise and collaborate with PTAs and the rehab team.
• Document in compliance with standards and communicate with care teams.
• Participate in care plan meetings and education for residents and families.

Position Summary

As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide skilled therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life. You will lead and collaborate with the therapy team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in our skilled nursing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to improve strength, balance, mobility, and pain management.

• Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs).

• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and home exercise programs.

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

• Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team.

• Participate in care plan meetings and team conferences.

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas Physical Therapist (PT) license.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.

• Good standing with all licensing boards and regulatory agencies.

• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or long-term care preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with Net Health documentation system a plus.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
