Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations to determine current abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Use various therapeutic techniques to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on exercises to continue progress at home.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' medical history and perform physical examinations to determine their current physical abilities and limitations
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to help patients improve their strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and endurance
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to continue their progress at home
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
• Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting
