Job summary

Virtuous Wellness Center in Maryland is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join a private practice focused on patient care and community health.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.
• Active Maryland license to practice Physical Therapy.
• Jurisprudence compliance required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• PT Compact License is optional.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation with patient goals to determine medical necessity.
• Develop and implement physical therapy programs for rehabilitation and education.
• Work directly with patients to maximize physical recovery.
• Supervise clinical staff members.
• Manage caseload to meet productivity expectations.
• Participate in clinical workshops with therapists to meet departmental goals.
• Follow regulations and pursue continuing education for growth.
• Collaborate with team to deliver well-rounded care.
• Refer other services and encourage referrals.
• Engage internal stakeholders to support the team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university, Active Maryland license to practice Physical Therapy, Jurisprudence Compliance, BLS for Healthcare Providers, PT Compact License (optional).

• Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations and takes initiative in pursuing continuing education for professional growth.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve well-rounded care and cement relationships with our clients.
• Refer our other services to our patients and ask for family and friend referrals.
• Build rapport with internal stakeholders to support our great team.
