Education/Experience:

  • Graduate of an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in clinical documentation and basic internet navigation

Certificates and Licenses:

  • Valid physical therapist state license

Responsibilities:

Physical Therapist

Summary: Provides physical therapy services to patients, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients, adhering to physical therapy principles and Reliant guidelines. Responsibilities include screening, evaluation, treatment planning, discharge planning, supervision of assistants and Techs, and case management. Maintains professionalism and compliance with all regulations.

Essential Duties:

  • Enhance patient functionality through physical therapy
  • Provide consultation and supervise PTAs
  • Supervise PTA and Rehab Tech in treatments, promoting resource efficiency and skill development
  • Build and improve the physical therapy program
  • Engage in continuing education and professional development
  • Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed on professional issues
  • Understand billing and treatment guidelines, providing quality care within guidelines
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively in English
