Job summary

Prosegur in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Physical Security Specialist I to help protect people and assets across multiple client sites. You will perform unarmed security duties, monitor access, and respond to incidents with a focus on safety and professionalism.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in security operations, a valid Level II license, and strong communication in English. The role requires flexibility for 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of security operations experience preferred.
• Valid Non-Commissioned Security License- Level II or able to obtain within 90 days.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Clean driving record and valid drivers license.
• Willingness to participate in the companys screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• VIP handling or UHNW experience preferred.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors.
• Assist with new site start-ups, temporary assignments, coverage gaps, vacation relief, and unplanned absences.
• Adapt to changing assignments, schedules, and post requirements as operational needs evolve.
• Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards, suspicious activity, or policy violations.
• Comply with Prosegur policies, client requirements, and site-specific post orders.
• Complete incident reports, logs, and other documentation using computer systems.
• Conduct routine foot patrols, access control, and general security duties.
• Provide white-glove professional customer service while interacting with clients, employees, visitors, and the general public.
• Be available to work multiple shifts and locations – 12hr shifts at Fort Worth Alliance Airport.

Job Skills / Requirements

• Promote safety by remaining alert to observe, correct, and report potential hazards, suspicious activity, or policy violations.
• Understand and comply with all Prosegur policies, client requirements, and site-specific post orders.
• Participate in required training and quickly become familiar with procedures at multiple client locations.
• Conduct routine foot patrols, access control, and general security duties in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Provide white-glove professional customer service while interacting with clients, employees, visitors, and the general public.
• Accurately complete incident reports, logs, and other required documentation using basic to intermediate computer systems.
• Be available to work multiple shifts and locations as needed to support coverage requirements – primary shift and location will be fireman's schedule, 12hr shifts at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of security operations experience preferred, with consideration given to military, law enforcement, or customer service management backgrounds.
• Preferred experience in corporate-level security and management.
• Internal candidates must demonstrate exemplary performance and attendance, with no disciplinary actions within the past year.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and adaptability to change.
• Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic, customer-facing environments.
• Ability to work independently with little oversight.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• 18+ years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Non-Commissioned Security License- Level II or able to obtain within 90 days
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Capable of following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Must have reliable transportation

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in incident response planning and execution.
• Strong leadership, communication, issue resolution, and performance management abilities.
• VIP handling, Corporate Security or UHNW experience
• Optimization of security operations processes and procedures, with a focus on continual improvement.
