Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an armed security professional to patrol assigned areas, deter threats, and enforce access control with professionalism. The role requires a firearm license and compliance with regulations. Strong communication and incident reporting skills are essential.

The position offers full-time hours across multiple shifts with potential weekend coverage. A high school diploma and valid licenses are mandatory, supporting a safe, compliant environment for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in military police, law enforcement, or corrections is required.
• Owner firearm and a valid license to carry; armed guard license is required where applicable.
• Certified in arrest control, handcuff, and baton use is preferred.
• Capable of performing physical duties such as patrolling, responding to incidents, and managing potentially intense confrontations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, identifying potential security breaches or hazards.
• Deter, detect, and respond to security threats or incidents promptly and professionally.
• Control access points and monitor premises to prevent unauthorized access.
• Provide emergency response, including de-escalation, arrest control, and restraining individuals as necessary.
• Maintain clear and concise incident reports and documentation for all security-related incidents.
• Engage with individuals in a courteous and professional manner to enforce rules and regulations.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have obtained Top Security Clearance in the past 5 years
• Must have obtained a Security Clearance in the past 5 years

Preferred Skills:

• Strong observational skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
• High level of professionalism and discretion
• Prior training or certification in security management, conflict resolution, or emergency response

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Capable of lifting or moving objects up to 50 lbs as needed
