Job summary

Ascension Health seeks a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician with a focus on interventional spine care to join a busy, well-respected practice in Austin, TX. The role enjoys an interdisciplinary team with orthopedic-spine surgeons and neurosurgeons, and supports a strong referral base within a robust health system network.

The position offers outpatient, Monday–Friday clinic work with no weekends or on-call requirements, access to in-office fluoroscopy, and opportunities for resident

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Responsibilities

• Primarily non-operative spine care supporting orthopedic and neurosurgical services.
• Access to in-office fluoroscopy for interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with orthopedic-spine surgeons, neurosurgeons and dedicated clinic staff.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Physical Medicine Physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Close affiliation with Ascension Seton hospitals, including Seton Medical Center Austin
• Interdisciplinary spine care with strong surgical collaboration
• Practice comprehensive, evidence-based spine care within a collaborative environment that includes orthopedic-spine surgeons, neurosurgeons and dedicated clinic staff.
• The ideal candidate is a PM&R physician with a strong interest in interventional spine care who values collaboration, efficiency and patient-centered outcomes within an interdisciplinary practice
• Experience in procedural spine care is preferred
