Job description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic board-certified or board-eligible physicians to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to facilitate care for individuals who have sustained catastrophic work-related injuries. Stay close to home while positively impacting the medical trajectory of injured workers, guiding them through their road to rehabilitation and recovery.

Details:

  1. Scope of injuries: catastrophic work-related injuries including musculoskeletal injury, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, burn injury, amputation, polytrauma
  2. Acuity: acute, subacute, non-acute
  3. Create, review, and oversee the implementation of care coordination plans for injured worker patients consistent with evidence-based practice
  4. Present care plans to clients and clinical staff
  5. Communicate with providers regarding injured worker patients, participating in peer-to-peer discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
  6. Work directly with a care coordinator nurse who will assist with care planning and coordination
  7. Consultant position with competitive compensation
