Job description

Internal Medicine Group with a geriatric focus that provides comprehensive care, managing both common and complex illnesses. Our expertise includes diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the heart, blood, kidneys, joints, digestive system, respiratory system, and more. We support disease prevention, wellness, and effective treatment for healthy patient outcomes.

Daily Responsibilities for a Physiatrist

• Reviewing new admissions
• Planning and overseeing an NP for daily rounding
• Conducting 4 rounds a week
• Managing comprehensive rehabilitation for patients
• Providing medical oversight and direction
• Rounding at both sites with nurse practitioner support

Hours for This Position

Full-Time; Day shift, with flexible scheduling preferred. Ideally, 4 10-hour shifts with rotating weekend call, supported by 3 mid-level providers.

Requirements for the Physiatrists

• Willingness to obtain Delaware licensure and board eligibility
• Ability to provide excellent inpatient rehabilitation care
• Compassionate, appropriate care promoting positive patient outcomes
• Board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation preferred
