Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in NC.
• Current Controlled Substance License.
• Current DEA License.
• ANCC or AANP certification.
• Interest in Physiatry/PM&R.
• Orthopedic experience is a plus.
• Skilled Nursing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and healthcare professionals to develop rehab plans.
• Conduct patient assessments including histories, exams, and evaluations to set rehab goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to promote independence.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and continuing education to enhance skills.
• Maintain documentation in EMR for evaluations, plans, progress, and discharge summaries.
• Provide education to patients and families about rehab process and post-discharge care.
