Qualifications
- Active IL license to practice
- Current Controlled Substance License (required)
- Current DEA License (required)
- ANCC or AANP Certification
- Interest to work in Physiatry/PM&R
- Orthopedic Experience (nice to have)
- Physiatry Experience (nice to have)
- Skilled Nursing Experience (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses and other professionals to develop rehab plans
- Conduct patient assessments including histories and exams to set rehab goals
- Monitor progress and adjust plans to optimize function and independence
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical education activities
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMRs
- Educate patients and families about rehab process and post-discharge care
