Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is assisting a leading regional healthcare system in central Vermont to recruit a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physiatrist (PM&R) for Rutland. The role blends outpatient musculoskeletal care, neuro-rehabilitation, electrodiagnostics, and inpatient consults.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize function and quality of life for patients across the region, participating in safety protocols, quality initiatives, and education.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution
• PM&R residency program (ACGME)
• Active Vermont medical license or eligibility
• Active DEA registration and Vermont CSR
• Strong clinical skills in physiatry, musculoskeletal care, and electrodiagnostics

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical evaluation and non-surgical management for musculoskeletal and neuro-rehabilitation cases
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including EMG/NCS, injections, and ultrasound-guided interventions
• Conduct inpatient rehabilitation consultations and oversee functional recovery plans
• Lead interdisciplinary team care conferences with PT/OT/SLP and nursing staff
• Manage treatment regimens, prescribe DME, and coordinate post-acute care transitions
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and support quality/safety initiatives
