Job summary

Top Dog Recruiting is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physiatrist in Rutland, Vermont, to join a regional healthcare system’s rehabilitation service line. The role blends outpatient musculoskeletal care with neuro-rehabilitation, EMG/NCS, and inpatient consults.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize function and quality of life for patients across the region, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution and board certification/eligibility in PM&R.
• Completed ACGME-accredited PM&R residency.
• Active Vermont medical license or eligibility; DEA registration; CSR license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and non-surgical management for musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
• Perform electrodiagnostic testing (EMG/NCS) and injections; ultrasound-guided interventions.
• Oversee inpatient rehabilitation consultations and develop functional recovery plans.
• Lead interdisciplinary team conferences with PT/OT/SLP/nursing.
• Manage regimens, DME, and post-acute care transitions; document in EHR.
