Job summary

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking an experienced Plumber/Mechanic – PHVAC in Princeton, NJ. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing boilers, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in a complex facility.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity requiring diagnostic, preventive maintenance, and responsive service skills. The candidate should have NJ Master Plumber license, 4+ years of plumbing experience, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• NJ Master Plumber license is required.
• 4+ years of plumbing installation/repair experience or equivalent apprenticeship.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• HVAC/refrigeration and fire protection systems training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair boilers, chillers, air conditioners, pumps, air handlers, ventilation equipment, and related mechanical systems.
• Install and repair plumbing systems, including domestic water, sanitary waste, gas, steam, sewage, fixtures, and lift systems.
• Troubleshoot electronic and pneumatic controls, motors, and environmental systems with gauges and meters.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on refrigeration and food service equipment.
• Support water treatment, sewage systems, and fire protection equipment; balance systems for efficiency.
