The role requires four+ years of tech experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. You will work with Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and QA to ensure reliable, maintainable systems and contribute to architectural reviews.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of technology experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly to stakeholders at different levels.
• Experience with PHP, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, software testing, or related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and maintain PHP applications and services with focus on reliability and maintainability.
• Partner with Johnson City users to understand workflows and shape REST API tools.
• Collaborate with QA to define test coverage and ensure release quality.
• Investigate Kubernetes services and clarify dependencies and operation for the team.
• Propose Kubernetes architecture concepts and defend designs in reviews.
• Participate in PostgreSQL incident reviews and contribute to postmortems.
• Document decisions and coordinate handoffs to deliver improvements.
