Qualifications

• Extensive experience with PHP frameworks Laravel or Symfony.
• Strong front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JS, TS, React, Angular, Bootstrap.
• Database design and management with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• RESTful API design; SOAP/WCF a plus.
• Knowledge of microservices, distributed computing, multithreading, scalability.
• Cloud services (AWS or Azure) and containers (Docker).
• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TFS) and version control (GitHub, SVN).
• Debugging with IDEs like Visual Studio or Eclipse.
• Security best practices: OAuth, encryption.

• Develop, test, and deploy PHP-based applications and APIs that meet functional and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Design and optimize database schemas for relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Implement system design principles for scalable distributed systems and microservices architectures utilizing cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.
• Write clean, maintainable code adhering to best practices in software engineering, version control (GitHub, SVN), and SDLC methodologies.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to identify issues early in the development process, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Participate actively in Agile software development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to foster continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with PHP development frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Bootstrap, and UI/UX principles.
• Proficiency in database design and management with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development; experience working with SOAP and WCF web services is a plus.
• Understanding of system architecture concepts like microservices, distributed computing, multithreading, scalability strategies, and system design for complex applications.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS or Azure), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TFS), containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub or SVN; experience with TFS is advantageous.
• Strong debugging skills using IDEs like Visual Studio or Eclipse; experience with unit testing frameworks is preferred.
• Familiarity with application security best practices including authentication protocols (OAuth), data encryption, and vulnerability mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in an Agile environment.
