Job summary

Alcon USA is seeking a skilled Second Shift Laser Technician to set up and align photonics laser systems per specifications. You will adjust laser settings, load materials, and run manufacturing equipment to produce device components and sterile products with tight tolerances.

You will inspect machinery, perform QA and reliability testing, and participate in process improvements. Strong English communication and a High School diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Work hours: 2nd Shift; 9/80 work schedule; Mon–Thu 3:00 PM–12:30 AM and every other Friday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.
• Travel requirements: None.
• Relocation assistance: No.

Responsibilities

• Set up and align photonics laser systems according to technical specifications and blueprints.
• Adjust laser settings to ensure optimal performance and precision.
• Set up, load materials, and run manufacturing equipment to produce device components and/or sterile finished products with proper settings.
• Perform inspections of machinery and output to ensure conformance with production specs and maintain process stability.
• Use tools to complete assembly, testing tasks, and measurements of medical devices per work orders and drawings.
• Perform quality assurance and reliability testing following established methods.
