Job summary

Corning is seeking a seasoned Product Line leader to drive Near Packaged Optics and Co-Packaged Optics strategy. You will shape product roadmaps, partner with manufacturing on margins, and guide pricing decisions to maximize profitability.

The role involves cross-functional leadership, customer collaboration, and extensive forecasting and SIOP involvement. The position requires an MBA and a technical BS, 15+ years in manufacturing, engineering, and business management, and up to 30% travel

Qualifications

• MBA and BS degree are required.
• Experience launching new products and leading cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes product line strategy for Near Packaged Optics and Co-Packaged Optics.
• Lead value propositions and margins with manufacturing to boost profitability.
• Manage introduction of new products and related applications.
• Oversee demand and supply planning to optimize profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Support building a strong business case for new products.
• Manage customer expectations and sampling/prototype needs.
• Determine pricing strategy and profit realization for new products.
• Provide guidance on monthly forecasting and revenue performance.
• Coordinate with forecasting, sales, manufacturing for inventory management.
• Participate in SIOP discussions with PCS Commercial Operations.
• Involve in supply chain disruption management and project delays.
