Job summary

Acceler8 Talent in Berkeley partners with a photonic-computing startup to hire a Photonic Circuit Design Engineer. You will own PIC layout, DRC/LVS, sign-off and tape-out, and build workflows using Cadence Photonics and Virtuoso.

You'll collaborate with GlobalFoundries 45 nm process teams and integrate across EIC, packaging, and measurement while designing and simulating silicon photonic devices.

Responsibilities

• Own PIC layout, DRC/LVS, signoff and tape-out.
• Build Cadence Photonics / Virtuoso workflows.
• Work with GlobalFoundries 45 nm.
• Design and simulate silicon photonic devices and circuits.
• Integrate across EIC, packaging and measurement.
• Significant ownership across the complete photonic design flow.
