Job summary

Joni and Friends is seeking a versatile photographer to join our Marketing team in California. The role encompasses shooting ministry events, staff portraits, and product photos, plus developing shoots to meet outreach goals.

You will edit and retouch images, maintain a cloud-based DAM, and provide production support for video shoots and live events. Travel domestically and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a versatile photographer with professional-quality photos.
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant industry experience.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge).

Responsibilities

• Photograph domestic and international ministry events for marketing and ministry purposes.
• Take professional-quality event photos and staff headshots.
• Develop shoots: plan, light, and execute with staff coordination.
• Manage photo editing, retouching, and color correction.
• Support video production and live event AV operations.
• Maintain and improve the ministry-wide DAM system and archives.
