Job summary

The Joffrey Ballet School invites a Photography & Media Intern to support the Marketing Department by creating and publishing engaging photo and video content across social media channels. The role emphasizes storytelling from on-stage and off-stage moments during our global summer intensives.

You will work with students, faculty, and staff to document performances and events, delivering content that aligns with brand voice, analytics, and growth goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in capturing high-quality photo and video content for social media.
• Ability to draft engaging captions and copy for young dancers and parents.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Capture and create high-quality photo and video content (horizontal and vertical) showcasing classes, rehearsals, and performances.
• Develop and draft engaging social media content, including posts, captions, and stories aligned with brand voice and strategy.
• Collaborate with students, faculty, and the Marketing team to document events and produce timely, trend-relevant content.
• Contribute to creative brainstorming and execute content ideas from concept through delivery.
• Maintain organized archives of digital content for future marketing and promotional use.
• Support marketing operations, including analytics tracking, email campaigns, digital materials, and print coordination.
• Adapt to evolving responsibilities and assist with additional projects as assigned by the Marketing team.
