Job summary

Madera Community College invites applicants to join a part-time Photography Faculty pool. The instructor will teach photography courses on campus and at off-site locations, employing diverse instructional methods for face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.

Minimum qualifications include a Master's in photography, fine arts, or art, or equivalent education/experience. Commitment to equity and inclusion across diverse student populations is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s in photography, fine arts, or art or equivalent education/experience.
• Bachelor’s in any of the above and Master’s in art history or humanities, or
• Valid California Community College Credential; or
• Equivalent education and/or experience (equivalency).

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of Photography courses;
• Deliver instruction using face-to-face, online, and/or hybrid formats;
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff;
• Adhere to approved curriculum outlines;
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely grading and reports;
• Provide course syllabi and maintain classroom records;
• Support a variety of instructional settings and times;
• Fulfill duties per Administrative Regulation 7122;
• Other duties as assigned.
