Fresno City College invites applications for a Part-Time Photography Instructor to join the pool of instructors. The position involves delivering lecture and lab-based instruction in professional photography and supporting student learning.

Faculty will conduct classes, maintain labs and equipment, advise students, and work in the evenings, weekends, online, or off-campus as needed. Commitment to equity and currency in the field is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of related professional experience.
• Associate degree and six years of related professional experience.
• Valid California Community College credential.
• Equivalent education and/or experience (equivalency).
• Evidence of responsiveness to diverse student backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Lecture and laboratory instruction in professional photography at the community college.
• Conduct classes, lab maintenance and operation, equipment inventory, class preparation, office hours, and student evaluation and advisement.
• Maintain professional conduct and ethics and stay current in teaching professional photography.
• Perform duties in evenings, weekends, online or off‑campus, and large group instruction as needed.
• Fulfill other duties required by Administrative Regulation 7122.
