Job summary

G-III Apparel Group is seeking a motivated Photo Studio Intern to join our Photo Studio team in New York City. This internship provides hands-on experience in a professional fashion photography environment and supports daily studio operations.

The ideal candidate is passionate about photography, visual content, and fashion, with strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced studio setting. On-site schedule approx 3 days a week.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated in Photography, Visual Arts, Film, Marketing, or related field.
• Strong interest in photography and visual content creation.
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and/or Lightroom preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Photo Studio team with daily studio operations and shoot prep.
• Support setup and breakdown of shoots, including equipment and props.
• Organize and maintain products, samples, and studio materials.
• Assist with basic photo editing and retouching as needed.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient studio.
• Collaborate with team to support multiple projects and deadlines.
• Provide additional administrative and studio support as needed.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Photo Studio Intern to join our Photo Studio team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional fashion photography environment while supporting the day-to-day operations of the studio.

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in photography, visual content, and fashion, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Photo Studio team with daily studio operations and photo shoot preparation.
• Support the setup and breakdown of photo shoots, including equipment, products, props, and studio materials.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining products, samples, and studio materials.
• Support the team during photo shoots as needed.
• Help organize and maintain digital photo assets and files.
• Assist with basic photo editing and retouching as needed.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient studio environment.
• Collaborate with team members to support multiple projects and deadlines.
• Provide additional administrative and studio support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Photography, Visual Arts, Film, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong interest in photography and visual content creation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Lightroom preferred, but not required.
• Must be available to work onsite approximately 3 days per week.
• Ability to start immediately preferred.

Compensation:

The pay rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.
