Position Summary:
We are seeking a creative and highly organized Associate, Content & Social Media to help shape and tell G-III's story across internal and external channels while strengthening our corporate brand and reinforcing our position as a global leader in fashion. This role will support the day-to-day editorial calendar, develop original content, manage corporate social media channels, and ensure communications are clear, engaging, and consistent with our brand and voice.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer and editor with an editorial mindset, excellent judgment, and an understanding of how storytelling should evolve across different platforms. This is a hands‑on role for someone who can move comfortably between developing story ideas, interviewing colleagues and executives, writing and editing copy, creating social content, and determining how stories should come to life across channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and edit compelling content that brings G-III's brands, people, culture, business priorities, and company initiatives to life.
- Identify and develop stories from across the organization, translating business updates, milestones, employee experiences, and company initiatives into engaging narratives.
- Write and edit content for internal and external platforms, including articles, profiles, executive communications, social media, website content, newsletters, and other corporate channels.
- Apply a strong editorial lens to company communications, ensuring content is clear, concise, engaging, and appropriate for its intended audience.
- Adapt stories and messaging across platforms and formats to ensure content is relevant to each audience and channel.
- Manage day-to-day content development and publishing across corporate social media channels, primarily LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Develop platform‑specific copy and content that strengthens G‑III's external presence and tells a consistent and compelling company story.
- Maintain and manage the social media calendar in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to participate in relevant cultural, fashion, industry, and company conversations.
- Monitor social media performance and use channel insights to continuously improve content, formats, and storytelling.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform changes, and emerging content formats and recommend relevant opportunities for the company.
- Help manage an integrated editorial calendar across internal and external communications.
- Partner with teams across the organization to identify upcoming stories, announcements, milestones, and content opportunities.
- Manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously, ranging from quick‑turn social content to longer‑form editorial pieces.
- Edit and proofread content from internal contributors while maintaining consistent standards for quality, tone, voice, and style.
- Support the development and maintenance of editorial guidelines and communications best practices.
- Support content planning and execution around key company events, milestones, announcements, and campaigns.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in content, editorial, communications, journalism, social media, or a related field.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong editorial judgment and storytelling ability.
- Experience developing content for digital and social media platforms.
- Hands‑on experience supporting or managing corporate or brand social media channels.
- Ability to translate business information into clear, accessible, and engaging content.
- Strong interviewing, research, and story‑development skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience collaborating with executives, business leaders, and cross‑functional teams.
- Understanding of social media analytics and the ability to use performance insights to inform content decisions.
- Portfolio or writing samples demonstrating content development and storytelling experience preferred.

The salary for this position is: $75,000 per year.
