Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho is hiring an ME Shift Process Engineer - Photo to enhance yield, quality and efficiency on advanced manufacturing lines. You will monitor, optimize and document processes, collaborating with process engineers to uphold strict quality standards and reliable output.

You will apply SPC/DOE methods, use analytics tools, and develop procedures, checklists and training to ensure standardized execution and data-driven decisions. Relocation not specified; onsite role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
• 2+ years as a semiconductor shift process engineer.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom on 12-hour shifts (3-4 days/week, day to night rotate).
• Strong background in SPC, DOE, and data-driven problem solving.
• Proficiency in programming or analytics tools such as Python, Java, MATLAB, Tableau, or Office.

Responsibilities

• Track and refine manufacturing processes to boost yield, quality, efficiency, and equipment performance.
• Evaluate process performance using SPC, FDC, DOE and other engineering methods; manage excursions.
• Lead issue resolution on processes, tools, defects, yield, and output in a timely way.
• Develop and maintain procedures, checklists, documentation, and training for standardized execution.
• Apply AI-enabled analytics and data visualization to identify improvement opportunities.
