Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Photo Equipment Technician to support photolithography equipment setup, calibration, maintenance, and quality testing. You will collaborate with engineers and manufacturing and use advanced programs to analyze data and perform in-line adjustments.

Candidates should have an associate degree or technical certification, 2+ years of technical experience or military service, and strong troubleshooting skills; familiarity with 6S is a plus.

Position Summary

In your role as a Photo Equipment Technician you’ll be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as performing maintenance and quality testing related to the photolithography equipment. You'll also use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments, flow adjustments, and mechanical repairs. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.

The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour - $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

Night Shifts Include

• B Shift - Sunday through Tuesday (6:45pm - 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays
• D Shift - Wednesday through Friday (6:45pm - 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays
