Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for telephone triage at Methodist Physicians Clinic - Westroads in Omaha, NE. Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, 2 days/week, teletriage focused. You will assess patient needs, document accurately, and coordinate care with providers.

Responsibilities include patient education, chart review, pharmacy communications, and ensuring timely follow-up while upholding HIPAA and practice protocols in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligibility to practice in Nebraska.
• Experience with telephone triage and patient education preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform telephone triage to assess patient needs and relay information to the provider.
• Educate patients and families per provider instructions and document interactions.
• Document nursing assessments, lab results, and referrals accurately in charts.
