Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System in Omaha is seeking a Triage Nurse for Methodist Physicians Clinic - Westroads Office Park III. The role is two days per week, 8am–5pm, with 100% phone triage.

You will perform telephone triage, document assessments with SBAR, relay information to providers, and support patient education and referrals. RN license and 1 year of clinical experience required; BLS preferred within 3 months.

Qualifications

• RN license required and graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Current BLS; ACLS preferred at time of hire or within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform telephone triage to assess patient needs and relay instructions to providers.
• Document patient condition and care plans using SBAR format.
• Manage calls promptly and coordinate with providers for follow-up.
• Support Health Coaches and maintain organized patient lists.
