Boom is seeking a fast, organized Customer Support Associate to join our in-office team in Austin. You will handle inbound/outbound calls, troubleshoot live, and guide users through Boom’s app and platform.

Responsibilities include multi-channel support via chat and email, and collaboration with Product/Engineering to unblock customers. This role favors problem solvers who thrive in a fast-growing, office-based environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in customer support or related role.
• Clear, friendly verbal communication on the phone.
• Technically minded; enjoy troubleshooting live.

Responsibilities

• Phone-first support for applicants, renters, and property managers; resolve questions about applications, screening decisions, payments, and access.
• Live troubleshooting; guide users with screen shares for BoomScreen, BoomReport, and the Boom platform.
• Respond to chat and email; meet first-response and time-to-resolution targets.
• Adjust approach for consumer vs. B2B contexts; support renters and property managers.
