Job summary

The Site Manufacturing Operations Manager at ERMCO's Phoenix facility will lead all plant operations across three shifts, reporting to the General Manager, and is responsible for safety, quality, and production targets while building the startup team and implementing initial processes.

This role requires extensive travel to Dyersburg for onboarding and alignment, a background in manufacturing leadership and engineering, and the ability to drive Lean initiatives and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience in electrical transformer manufacturing or related industrial environments is preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively during startup ramp-up.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities across three shifts, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Drive SQDC governance and manufacturing excellence initiatives.
• Develop leadership bench by mentoring Area Managers and Supervisors.
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Travel to Dyersburg for onboarding and alignment of standards.
• Develop and launch new production workflows for the Phoenix facility.
• Monitor costs, waste, and resource utilization; collaborate on CapEx.
• Partner with Supply Chain, HR, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, and Engineering.
